Home staging-Dos and Don'ts, less is MORE

Simplicity is key when it comes to staging a home.  Less is actually more. Neutral tones, scaling down on furniture or removing oversized pieces can be key to making your home ready for showing.  This article,  Staging Dos and Don'ts  by Bridget Savereux from HGTV  explains the 5 "Dos" and 5 "Don'ts" for preparing your home for sale.

If you are trying to sell a vacant home, consider leaving a few key pieces in the home or hiring a staging company to furnish with either a light stage or a full stage.  So what is the difference?
Light staging focuses on the main rooms of the house---Dining, kitchen and living areas.  The bathrooms will have towels and light accessories added to warm up the areas.
Full home staging is exactly what it says---full house furniture and decor.  This includes the main rooms and all bedrooms, office/den, flex spaces, outdoor areas.
Gorgeous Digs  can offer both light and full house staging.  Our inventory is neutral toned for the main living areas and scaled down to highlight a home's spacious qualities.
We have partnered with several companies local and elsewhere to ensure our inventory is fresh and up to date with current design trends. Some of  Gorgeous Digs favorites are: Wayfair,  The Woodlands, Texas Macy's furniture and The Woodlands, Texas World Market .
